People with conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia often become incapable to be left alone, as confusion and disorientation are common symptoms of these diseases. Memory care patients can even put themselves in danger after becoming confused, panicked, or disoriented.

Some loved ones who have suffered serious injuries and cannot care for themselves may also need 24-hour care. They often will require assistance in daily activities as well as taking regularly scheduled medications.

24-hour care services cover all of the same services as live-in care, but it involves several different caregivers. NPHS Home Health Aides / CNAs will be scheduled to work back-to-back shifts, so there is always someone in the home with your loved one. Your loved one has the assistance of a caregiver at all times — even during the night.
